Well Done Pen-Y-Garth Staff

Congratulations to two of our care staff at Pen-Y-Garth EMI residential care home, Lesley and Bonnie, on achieving their QCF Health & Social Care Qualifications. Good luck also goes to the many other members of our care team who are currently engaged in undertaking their Diplomas in Care.

On a general note, Pen-Y-Garth was pleased to recently host the latest 3 day dementia training course in the home. This is just the latest in our regular programme of staff training which demonstrates the care home’s commitment to continuously updating our skill set in respect of all the facets in the provision of high quality residential care. Other regular training courses attended by staff in recent months include Fire Safety, Infection Control and Health & Safety and Adult Protection, as well as Reporting and Recording and Personal Centred Care.
