Respite and Day Care
Temporary respite care, which is available at both The Cedars and Pen-Y-Garth care homes, carries with it a range of benefits. It provides highly-valued carers with a much needed break, whilst residents benefit from a change of scenery and some company or social stimulation.
Just like our full time residents, care plans for respite clients are tailored to the needs of the individual and for those recovering from hospitalisation.
With a variety of funding options available and flexible lengths of stay, our respite care packages provide a safe and professional environment for residents to regain strength and their independence.
We are also able to provide Day Care on either a short term or long term basis.
Both Respite Care and Day Care, which are subject to availability, can often also serve as a helpful “ taster ” for possible long term care, for carer and client alike.
