Everyone at The Cedars care home in Altrincham would like to congratulate our lady resident who today celebrates the grand age of 101 ! A special birthday tea is taking place in her honour, and everybody hopes she has a most wonderful day.
Cooking sessions are proving ever popular at Pen-Y-Garth residential home in Wrexham. Residents are rightly very proud to tell their families what they have baked, although unfortunately such is the quality that there is never any left when the families visit !
Now that the weather is improving, residents at Pen-Y-Garth care home in Brymbo, which provides specialist dementia care for the elderly, are taking full advantage of our new sensory garden.

Residents at Pen-Y-Garth care home for the elderly in Brymbo recently celebrated St. David’s Day by making daffodils during activity sessions, whilst Valentine’s Day saw residents making their own valentine cards.
The Cedars residential home in Trafford, which provides high quality residential care, including dementia care, are this Easter week pleased to welcome a sax quartet called ‘ Blended Malt ’, with their blend of classical, jazz and well known tunes. An Easter Tea will also be served, with tables decorated with daffodils to welcome Spring.
Easter promises to be a fun and busy time for residents at The Cedars care home in Altrincham. Easter Baskets for the tables and Easter Bonnets for the ladies will be made during the run up, whilst competitions for all will be taking places, with some egg-citing chocolaty prizes, naturally !
