The Cedars EMI Residential Care Home Staff Make The Grade

The Cedars Rest Home in Altrincham is committed to the continued training of our staff and the updating of our skills set in the provision of high quality care for the elderly, including those with dementia. We are therefore delighted to congratulate 2 more of our carers for completing their NVQ3 qualification. This is an excellent achievement in what is a quite intensive course, with presentations and forums involving staff with debates on different responsibilities in line with our Resident’s Charter.

Christmas Time at The Cedars Residential Care Home in Trafford

Christmas is a magical time for all, not least at The Cedars where as usual we have an interesting and fun program of events and activities throughout December.

In addition to the decoration of the home for the festive period, on the 8th December we have our Christmas Party for residents, families and friends, including entertainment and first class buffet.

The following weekend the choir from St. Pauls Church in Sale will visit the home to perform “ Carols Round the Tree ”. We are sure that many residents and staff will join in!

‘Puss in Boots’ will later be brought to us by “ The Magic of Christmas ’, whilst Santa will be visiting with presents just before Christmas.
