Residents make a dash for a Tea Dance at The Cedars Rest Home in Bowdon

On canvassing our residents recently as to any activities or events they would like to be provided at The Cedars residential care home in Bowdon, one lady playfully responded ‘ A 100 yard dash ’ !!  Not being convinced there would be too many takers, we managed to settle on a Tea Dance one afternoon, with dainty sandwiches and cakes being accompanied by teas, coffees and of course plenty of suitable music.

The Cedars care home is situated in the leafy suburban village of Bowdon in south Manchester. The home itself is a Victorian property built in the 1870′s and sympathetically converted by Caring UK throughout the 1980′s. Pen-Y-Garth now provides exceptional 24-hour residential and EMI residential care for up to 44 residents.
