The sun came out for residents from The Cedars care home in Altrincham last week when they enjoyed a lovely lunchtime canal cruise on ‘The Butty & Sweet café boat’. The gentle trip, accompanied with homemade scones, jams, cream and strawberries, with unlimited tea and coffee, saw residents travel the scenic Bridgewater canal from Lymm marina to Oughtrington and back. There was a lot of fun, laughter and singing from the moment the party left the front door !
