At Pen-Y-Garth care home in Wrexham, which has been providing high quality care to the elderly in Wrexham for over 20 years, residents have spent the last few weeks engaging in a range of activities getting into the Christmas spirit and preparing the big day. On 2nd December residents and staff enjoyed a festive night in the home, with Christmas carols being sung whilst the tree was put up and the home adorned with wonderful home made decorations. On 8th December we were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Wrexham to the care home for a morning reminiscing with residents about Brymbo in days gone by – against a backdrop of delicious mince pies, naturally. Residents and staff at have also had the privilege of enjoying some lovely Christmas Carols sung by local school children over the last 2 weeks, with many amongst the audience joining in the familiar festive songs.
