This aspect of registration allows us to administer the medication prescribed by Medical Practitioners, according to their instructions, and enables us to assist the Healthcare professionals (doctors, district nurses & etc) who visit our Residents by doing such things as administering insulin injections to Residents unable to do this themselves or by re-dressing wounds. We only carry out such tasks at the specific request of the General Practitioner or District Nurse and following training by them.
Diagnostic & screening procedures
We believe that this will enable us to assist the Healthcare professionals who visit our Residents by doing such things as collecting samples (e.g. urine samples) and ensuring that the sample is taken to the appropriate place for analysis.
