As part of the extensive range of daily activities forming a core element of the specialist dementia care at Pen-Y-Garth care home in Wrexham, residents have been busy knitting jumpers for babies in Uganda, with the most British of themes : fish and chips ! Meanwhile, residents have also been taking full advantage of the recent warm weather, sitting with staff around the home’s ornamental pool, and in our summer house complete with “ mini-beach ”, singing all their favourite songs.
