Visiting the Cedars Care Home
 There are lots of family occasions and events throughout the year at the Cedars that you may wish attend. We welcome you to celebrate your loved ones' birthday, anniversary or to join us at one of our main events we put on at the Cedars. If you would like to visit for a particular occasion contact us, well be happy to talk through some of the considerations you may have.Care home visits and visting Hale Village, Bowdon and Altrincham:Our experienced care workers and care home manager Christina King, know the importance friends and family are to residents in our care. Spending time together at the Cedars can be as enjoyable as taking in some of the local beauty spots and well respected restaurants and pubs. Care home day trips and how to find usYou are welcome to join us on one of many day trips throughout the year. The Cedars Care home staff take residents on day trips to local garden centres, shopping centres such as Altrincham, Chester Zoo and lots more throughout the year. If you would like to come along with us for a day trip, please get in touch with the care home manager Christina King who can let you know when the next planned event is. Getting to Hale, Bowdon by trainThe Cedars rest home is well located next to the village of Hale. Hale offers a train stationn on the Chester to Manchester Piccadilly trainline, giving you great options for day trip further a field. Getting to Hale, Bowdon by roadIf you are travelling by road there are great links via the M56 which from this Google map, you can see we are a short distance off the A56. Take B5161 (Ashley Road) South out of Altrincham, heading towards Bowdon and Hale. At the traffic lights at the crossroads of Ashley Road, Stamford New Road and Langham Road, bear right along Langham Road. Approx 250 metres past the Quality Bowdon Hotel you will find The Cedars on the left hand side. From M56 Jcn 7 at Dunham: At junction of M56 and A556 at Dunham, take A556 towards Altrincham for about 1.5 miles, passing petrol station on the right. Turn right at the lights onto Park road, becomes Langham road. The Cedars signboard is clearly visible on the right, approximately 150 metres after the junction with South Downs Road Sitemap |
