The Cedars care home is situated in the leafy suburban village of Bowdon in south Manchester. The home itself is a Victorian property built in the 1870′s and sympathetically converted by Caring UK throughout the 1980′s.
The care home caters for 34 residents in mainly single room, en-suited accommodation and has a range of spacious communal facilities with large outdoor spaces and landscape designed gardens.
Pen-Y-Garth care home is situated in the rural village of Brymbo, just four miles from the North Wales town of Wrexham.
A Georgian property set in 2 acres of landscaped grounds and with stunning panoramic views of the countryside, the home was originally converted to its role as a care home in 1985 and extended five years later with the addition of a purpose built EMI wing.
Pen-Y-Garth now provides exceptional 24-hour residential and EMI residential care for up to 44 residents.
- Words cannot express how grateful and lucky I feel to have found your care home and the carers who work there. Mum was so well looked after and I feel that the care you gave comes from having big hearts and kindness in abundance. Many thanks and good wishes to you all.
- My aunt loves living at Pen-Y-Garth, it was the best move we ever made. She is made to feel part of a special family.
- I guess finding a care home for a relative isn’t something you do everyday and so we were quite daunted by the whole thing. We needn’t have been. The staff at The Cedars let us visit several times and encouraged us to ask as many questions as we liked – sorry Christa! Having shortlisted 3 homes, in the end the decision was easy and our father has been genuinely happy at The Cedars for over 12 months now.
